A tölgymakkormányos bogár (Curculio glandium)a még zöld makkba rakja le a petéjét, a kikelő lárva pedig a termésben él. Amikor elfogyasztotta a szikleveleket kirágja magát a makkból, és a talajban bábozódik be.
