A szarvasbogarak küzdelme igazi erdei gladiátorviadal: az ellenfelek szarvaikba kapaszkodva próbálják legyőzni egymást a legjobb „színpadért”, vagyis a nőstény kegyeiért. A mohapadlón zajló mérkőzés látványa felér egy természetfilmes közvetítéssel – csak éppen a kommentátor hiányzik. --- The duel of the stag beetles is a true gladiator fight of the forest: locking their antler-like jaws, they strive to overpower each other for the best “stage” – in other words, the favor of a female. On the mossy ground, their battle looks like a live nature documentary – only the commentator is missing.
